DesignScript Curve Translation, Line.StartPointEndPoint#2- Code to Node to Code

Hi Everyone:

This is the second Line file, Curve.Line.ByStartPointEndPoint, in a series of four curve- line translations from the DesignScript Editor Sample files.

Pick the highlighted file in he editor (DSE), open it and copy the script, then open (DesignScript Studio) DSS and paste the script into a new canvas. Develop the translation.

DesignScript Curve Translation, Line.StartPointDirectionLength#1- Code to Node to Code

Hi Everyone:

This is the first Line file, Curve.Line.StartPointDirectionLength, in a series of four curve- line translations from the DesignScript Editor Sample files.

Pick the highlighted file, open it and copy the script, then open DSS (DesignScript Studio) and paste the code into the blank canvas. The initial and essential translation will look something like below.

Hi Everyone:

This is the forth circle file, Circle.BytwoPointsNormal, the last curve – circle file in a series of four translations.

Hi Everyone:

This is the third circle file, Circle.ByCenterPointsOnCurve, in a series of four circle translations.

DesignScript Curve Translation, Circle.ByCenterPointRadius#1– Code to Node to Code

 

Hi Everyone:

This is the first Circle file,”Curve.Circle.ByCenterPointRadius“,  in a series of four curve-circle  type translations.

The DSE (DesignScript Editor) opening window shows sample files. Click on the link to the file ”Geometry.Curve.Circle.ByCenterPointRadius.ds.” Open it and copy the resulting code to the windows clipboard, then open DSS (DesignScript Studio) to a blank canvas and paste from the windows clipboard the subject code into the canvas.

After doing the essential translation the file should look something like the node graph as shown below.

Continuing on,  translate the guaranteed properties for this curve. Then the guaranteed properties for a circle.

Then the guaranteed and nonguaranteed properties for this Geometry.

After complete the graph nodes in the canvas are encompassed by a windows pick box and the “Code to Node” operation is used. The resulting canvas translation will look something like below.

Should one choose, maybe a little more definition is needed with a “Variable”.
