This translation is from the twenty-fifth chapter of the **D**esign**S**cript **L**anguage **M**anual and can be found at **DSLM ***(pages 74-75) *and is entitled*; Geometric Booleans. *There is a companion video tutorial on the **DS **website’s tutorials, Boolean Operations on Geometry (18). This will be the first in a series of three translations.

The initial manual translation was made on the Autodesk DesignScript Community Forum and DesignScript.org. Now it can be found at can be found at Chapter 25: Geometric Booleans Part 1*. *(Note that it can be not longer be found on the Autodesk Labs Website, as linked)

Copy and paste the script from* (page 74)* the **D**esign **S**cript **L**anguage **M**anual into the **D**esign**S**cript **E**ditor. Below shows the script in the **DS** **E**ditor with the results of the code being run, and the window graphics inserted alongside for reference.

Now open **D**esign**S**cript **S**tudio and paste this same script into the canvas.

Note the Union node can be obtained from either the Library, or from the node that it is derived from. ( *A on-board context sensitive menu can be accessed from the three dots on the upper-right hand side of a node* ).
