Hi Everyone:

This is the eighteenth, in a series of twenty-four Point file translations. The file Geometry.Point.Project.OnSolid.WithDirection.ds is located in the DesignScript Editor (DSE) Sample files.

Open the file Geometry.Point.Project.OnSolid.WithDirection.ds in the DS Editor, and run it.  We get an initial error on line 11 of the script as shown below. Looking at the error report its seen that the “Project along direction operation failed.”

The DesignScript Editor reports the errors as highlighted above.

Nonetheless, open DS Studio, and paste the DSE script, Geometry.Point.Project.OnSolid.WithDirection.ds into a blank canvas. The preliminary translation  shown above produces the error, it’s illustrated further below.

Using the previous file “Geometry.Point.Project.OnSolid” we can use the Project node and continue.
