This translation is from the fourth chapter in the DSLM, entitled; Geometric Primitives. The first part of this translation was not previously posted to the DesignScript community while the second part was.
Both are being posted here in their initial form and also with the more developed and detailed versions along with a link for downloading the files.
The first translation is shown below.
And here is the more defined version which names the Variables providing further definition.
What has changed and is being reflected here is the impact of not only digesting the DSLM but also the Sample files that are in the DSE. Spending some time with the Editor and getting familiar with naming conventions helps in sorting out the graph nodes. A necessary step who’s importance, may eludes the architect and designer, while being a staple of Coders.
It might be noticed that what was added to this file was not only the color, but the cylinder and sphere which illustrate the position and proof of a point on a surface.
Not forgetting the conversion of Node to Code, the script is presented below.
This brings us to the second part of the translation which was posted on the DesignScript Community Forum, and entitled Another Translation of Script to Graph Node.
The initial translation the was posted is shown below.
And the further delineated version is here.
And the translation back to Code is shown below.
The image that results from these versions.
The files are available to download at the Drop Box links below.
Thanks for looking.
