Hi Everyone:
This is the fifteenth in a series of thirty-two DS file translations and the first in a series of six Solid-Slice type of files. The file Geometry.Solid.Slice.ArrayOfSurface.ds is located in the DesignScript Editor (DSE) Sample files.
Open the file Geometry.Solid.Slice.ArrayOfSurface.ds in the DS Editor and run it, The script is shown below.
Now open DS Studio, and paste the DSE script, Geometry.Solid.Slice.ArrayOfSurface.ds, into a blank canvas.
Note the commenting out which must be deleted in order to activate the code.
Now commenting out the “(import(ProGeometry.dll)” script as highlighted above must be added. It can now be run as a Code Block of script, before the translation to Nodes takes place.
The preliminary translation is shown above, while the developed translation is shown below.
The red and yellow highlighted areas match the description and properties layout that is given to the script in the initial DS Editor *.ds file.
Continuing with the “Node to Code” operation above, a little editing is desired.
The geometry that results from the code(s) is shown below.
Liberty was taken with adding additional colors and to give them transparency as shown above in the graphic window.
DSS was run as a stand-alone application and the files are available to download from the DropBox links below.

Thanks for looking.
