DesignScript Curve Translation,Geometry.Solid.LoftFromCrossSections#4- Code to Node to Code

Hi Everyone:

This is the fourth in a series of thirty-two Solid file type translations. The file Geometry.Solid.LoftFromCrossSections.ds is located in the DesignScript Editor (DSE) Sample files.

Open the file Geometry.Solid.LoftFromCrossSections.dsin the DS Editor, the resulting script is shown below.

There is the slight miss-spelling that runs common in some files as highlighted above.

Open DS Studio, and paste the DSE script, Geometry.Solid.LoftFromCrossSections.ds into a blank canvas.

Note the commenting out which must be deleted in order to activate the code.

Now commenting out the “(import(ProGeometry.dll)” script as highlighted above must be added. It can now be run as a Code Block of script, before the translation to Nodes takes place.

The red and yellow highlighted areas match the description and properties layout that is given to the script in the initial DS Editor *.ds file.

Continuing with the “Node to Code” operation above, no editing was required.

The geometry that results from the code(s) is shown below. Note that liberty was taken with applying colors to the translation and DSS was run as a stand-alone application.
