DesignScript Curve Translation,Geometry.Point.ByCylindricalCoordinates#6 – Code to Node to Code

Hi Everyone:

This is the sixth in a series of twenty-four Point file translations. The file Geometry.Point.ByCylindricalCoordinates.ds is located in the DesignScript Editor (DSE) Sample files as shown below.

Geometry.PointByCylindricalCoordinates.ds#6

Open the DS Editor, the resulting script is shown below.

Note in the highlighted green comments. We are going to keep the (//) the “commenting-out” in the script so to have multiple points. As, a minor item highlighted, another spelling error which should read “on“, not “no“.

Lets copy the DS Editor script by highlighting it. Then open DS Studio, and paste the DSE script into a blank canvas.

The red and yellow highlighted areas indicate the groupings of nodes according to their properties. Once satisfied that the translation is complete the “Node to Code” operation can take place.

The script that results from the operation doesn’t require further editing. The geometry that results from the code(s) is shown below.
